Support ForumCategory: Generalintegrating amz coupon server with pages built by instabuilder
Vladimir asked 2 years ago

Hello, I am using AMZ coupon server on a landing page built by Instabuilder.  When a shortcode is inserted in the page, the email field and the submit button do not seem to inherit the design css of the landing page. Please advise how to integrate the form inserted by amz coupon server so that it inherits the look and feel of the page
Thank you

Hi Vladimir,
Since you’re using 3rd party system (Instabuilder) we can’t isolate the issue.
Try using the short-code outside of Instabuilder and see its design.
If you’re familiare with CSS, visit our documantation at:

Thank you for the suggestion. I did try the shortcode outside instabuilder and the effect is the same – the theme design is not being inherited, and the email fields/button inserted by the coupon server still look different from the rest of the page.
Thank you

Hi Vladimir,
Can you please send your landing page URL?
(you can send it as a private message to Admin by selecting “Only me & Admin” from the drop down menu below)

btw, just so you know – when I post comment and chose “Only me and admin” for visibility – I can’t see it..

Hi Vlad,
The webform takes its design from your website default design CSS.
That means that it will use your default colors, fonts, borders, shadow, etc…
If you want – you can customize AMZ Coupon Server CSS – as you did.
Now change your customized CSS to fit your needs.

That’s the problem – webform is not inheriting the design from the main site. I tried it with several pages and the format of the box is not changing.

So, you can customized the CSS according to the example inhttp://amzcouponserver.com/documentation/#css

OK I think I found the problem.  I had a number of visual editors installed on my site – I was experimenting with different ones to see which one I liked.  At the time I was installing AMZ Coupon server plugin, an editor called Motopress was my default page editor.  AMZ Coupon server installed its CSS code INTO THAT EDITORS CSS code; not into the main theme.  When I switched to a different editor (such as Instabuilder), AMZ Coupon server could no longer read its CSS code as Motopress editor was deactivated, and the code was not available in the main theme.
I think this is wrong – please address this, and install the code into the main theme rather than the current editor.  Please also provide an easy way for users to update that and re-install AMZ Coupon Server’s CSS code into the main theme, if they have the same situation as myself.
Thank you
